Ports of Call & Destinations...part two

Buddy's Island

This is actually Cemetery Island, just off of Stuart and Jones Islands. Cliff renamed it because this is about the only place in the San Juan's that Buddy can run free. But that came to a halt, shortly after he tried to take on a huge male sea otter...no more roaming free for Buddy!

Entrance to Reid Harbor

Looking to Sidney BC across Haro Strait; a lone sailboat makes it's way into Reid Harbor.

Where not to anchor

Langley, Whidbey Island WA

Natural Bonsai

This is probably the most photographed tree in all the San Juan's.

San Juan Channel

This view was taken from the top of San Juan Island.

South Beach

This is South Beach, San Juan Island with the entrance to Cattle Pass in the distance.

Stormy Afternoon

This is the view to the north of the mooring ground at Spencer Spit, Lopez Island

Mount Baker

This was taken from Echo Bay, Sucia at Sunrise.

Birdhouses

These pilings are off of Buchart Gardens, in Todd Inlet. Several of them are topped by bird houses.

Fresh Washed Sand

This is the east side of Blake Island, Central Puget Sound...outgoing tide.

Blake Island

Cloudy wet morning...but a lovely time to walk on the beach. This is looking North, on the east side of the Island towards Seattle.
